This is Polemonium pulcherrimum – a western Jacob’s ladder. It is a low growing plant with interesting leaves and tiny but striking flowers. It grows on rocky slopes of both low and high elevations in the Yukon and NWT, British Columbia and Alberta. They make a beautiful addition to rock gardens in these areas.
